Buying a craft brewery or Beverage business
Are you looking to buy a brewery or other craft beverage (e.g. cidery, winery, distillery, soda) business? Our brokers are experienced commercial real estate and craft beverage business brokers. Let us assist you in finding the right business and location at no cost to you.
What we require of our buyers:
We require the completion of non-disclosure agreements (Confidentiality Agreement) for all of our confidential listings. Businesses may suffer if word leaks out to the employees that the brewery or other craft beverage business is for sale. The buyer must agree to keep ALL confidential listings private or they could suffer legal penalties.
We also require our buyers to complete a personal net worth statement. Not having a personal net worth statement before placing an offer, will delay if not ruin an opportunity to buy a business. For the sake of both parties involved, net worth must be discussed in the early stages of looking for property.
What to expect when working with our team:
Your time is valuable and so is ours. If you are prepared to buy at this time, we ask that you complete the online form on this page and one of our brokers will contact you. If you are not prepared to buy at this time and only want to browse our listings, please view them here.
We act on behalf of sellers, but we treat all buyers honestly and fairly and disclose all material facts that we know about available businesses. Our brokers help qualified buyers with all the details involved in obtaining financing, including small business loans and seller financing, and educate them in our business buying system. We provide the financial records submitted to our company by the seller. However, be aware that business owners prepare financial records to reduce taxable income. The buyer is responsible for investigating reported sales and expenses prior to making an offer for a business.
As brokers, we cannot advise you on legal or accounting matters but we will guide you through the transaction and provide information about how to engage other professionals who can assist you. For example, we recommend that our clients work with attorneys regarding new property leases. We have a network of experienced attorneys we have worked with and can recommend should you need assistance.
We help buyers structure detailed checklists to guide them through the process of buying a brewery or other craft beverage business. Fill out the form on this page and get started with our brokerage experts.
